I essence by having 2 or 3 strategies for the same group I can watch each and pick the one that is currently performing the best. By using different types of analysis or just different buy-sell rules the dynamics of a strategy can change dramatically. Because we have different market situations over time, some strategies may perform best during up markets vs. down markets, or even volatile rock & roll markets.
